Question to coaches

whats up? on break now?...merry xmas...

Just curious about something....when i was going to Kent State (as hard as it is to believe i made it to college) i needed some credits, so i took 2 extra courses...one was Japanese (italian was full, and i had just got out of the service from Japan) and the other was Coaching Football 101....for real...it was a course on the game and how to teach it....i never really thought i would be coaching at the time...i was 21, and still playing semipro (played till i was 33 and had to give it up)...and i had to give and oral thesis on punting...so, i went to the Kent head coach, and "borrowed" his punter, and let HIM give the speech, basically...it was a wild class...anyway, do they have anything like that there that you could get in to? just another tool to add to the file of knowledge...nothing beats experience, but it couldnt hurt either....(since i had been playing since 6th grade, and still was, for a pretty good coach, i was able to ace the course...i didnt do so well with the others, and only spent one year in college...the only other thing i aced was partying...they wouldnt let me come back...ahahhaa...which is another life lesson for you ...hahah)

btw...when i came back from over seas, i was stationed at Quantico, Va for about 6mos before i got out...is that anywhere near where youre from? Va is beautiful part of the country, i had never seen sooooo many trees in all my life, and i live near a metro park reservation...hahha...and, yes, i found my way to Va. beach.....hahaha
