Commonly Asked Questions.
Please review before contacting InfoSports

Why am I getting a Validation Required... If you are a Real Person ... error message and how do I correct this?
Because of the hundreds of SPAMBOTS which crawl our websites (InfoSports, iTouchmap, SatelliteViews, and others) we have implemented this validation step in order to keep the SPAMBOTS from stealing our content. The error is triggered when a request arrives at our server without the HTTP Referrer field set on. Because of privacy concerns some people intentionally turn off the referrer in their browser. Unfortunately about 95% of the time when a request comes in (with the referrer field turned off) it is from a SPAMBOT. If you are a regular visitor we recommend that you enable Referrer in your browser which is its normal operation.

I need additional information about a tournament. How can I get it?
Please contact the tournament operator. We have no additional information concerning the tournament.

I need information about how many kids are playing youth sports for the major organizations. How can I find it out?
We do not have information like this on the website. Your best bet is to contact the major youth sports organizations directly. Most have links on the site.

Do you know of any traveling teams in the area?
No. Please consider posting a message to the appropriate message board or search our Teams Looking for Players database (referenced off of the sport home page).

In general all questions that do not directly relate to the operation of this website (questions about camps, drills, tournaments, local sports organizations, etc.) can not be answered by the operator of this website. Your best chance of getting an answer to your question is to post it to the appropriate message board or by contacting the organization directly.

A brief overview of InfoSports and our Website
InfoSports is a small family owned and operated business. All information we have about tournaments, drills, other youth sports organziations, advice on how to improve at a sport, etc. is available to the public on the website. InfoSports does not maintain or otherwise give out any email addresses. If you need to contact a frequent contributor to InfoSports and do not know their email address then you may post your inquiry for that individual on the message board.

If your question or comment hasn't already been addressed then please contact us. Please remember, no question is too dumb to ask. However, some questions may be too dumb to answer. Especially if they are already answered in the faq's (YSP FAQ - InfoSports FAQ ) on the site.
