LL - child stays down, parents get mad.

In our LL we have Majors, Minors, AAA, AA, A and t-ball. The kids are evaluated during tryouts by prospective coaches and a groups of 3 persons (ex coaches with kids no longer playing in the league). The coaches will draft kids after all tryouts are completed. Now that drafts are complete parents are angry and upset because their kid wasnt picked to a specific divsion.
Majors drafts first. After they draft the kids left are drafted to Minors.
So far we have a mom upset because her kid didnt make the Major draft on one of the 6 teams. We also have two parents that are angry because their kids did not make the Minor division and will play down to AAA. One of the moms asked me, "What do I tell my kid? All his friends are playing up in the next division." Clearly he wasnt picked because during the draft the coaches selected other kids.
Parents talk to me as if they think their kid is just supposed to play with everyone else no matter what his skill level is. they just dont get it...
