AAU v LL {Rec} No Difference @ Allstar Time(Long)
By: Walter Kiriaka
Well, In your part of the country yes, in mine no way. The travel Teams have too much bickering and stealing each others players that it truly demoralizes their Teams. Now Japan was in Town a couple of years ago and the LL's got together after allstars and picked an Allstar team from them. This Town team demolished the Japan LL Team which if I remember correctly was supposedly a Handpicked Team much like Taiwan used to supposedly do at least that was the rumour (Please don't sue me). Now let me put this too you, who would this Allstar Team play? Why another City's Allstar team of course, but hold on here, from what I see is that most City's have more than 1 City Allstar Team diluting the talent, as well as other Leagues and programs from Rec to Comp. Is there really a situation where you do get the best teams in the Country playing each other, because sure as heck you may draw from a Million Players but so are the other Teams from your same Million Players. Well if your still with me, all I'm saying is that in my little corner of the earth I believe that an allstar team that wins their district and could practice together for awhile will make a competitive game for a comp Team at the younger ages, not at the older ages, because at the younger ages, I also believe that if the kids believe in the coach and the coach has some smarts the Team will work Miracles (seen a few). (If it looks like I'm backpedaling a bit, it probably means I am, trying to cut my loss's.) I going to thank everybody for their response though, this is a very interesting conversation.
