Wooden Bat Tournament Questions / Help

It describes the detail characteristics
of the wood of the bat.

(Usually when it is taken off the lathe.)
e.g.

a) Diameter of barrel
ex) 2 3/4 vs 2 5/8 vs other
b) Size of handle - large to thin
c) Body of bat is 'flared' or not
d) Whether the end of bat is 'cupped'

I sometimes used a 35" Nellie Fox bat
back in the 50's & 60's. & on this board, best recalled by Coach Bob & a few others.
