Dear Tom,

I read your 'posting' with much passion.

My first response was to provide
a simple..common reply with four
letters. That being O U C H.

However, let's examined, if I may,
the audience whom may not understand
the 'details' of the intricate relation
ship you and your son have.

Here's my question for the coaches ?

The bonding times with our sons on the
around the baseball field is extraordinaire. (Those who didn't jerk a tear from
the movie, the "Field of Dreams" may want
to bow out now).

From the bullpen, to the dugout, to the playing field, it is a 'special' time. Most 'Daddy' coaches became better baseball coaches 'after' they stopped coaching their kid.

In fact, the kid got better after Daddy
stopped coaching him, and when 'Daddy' matured, the two both 'bonded' like cement.

And of course I agree with you perception,
that all Daddy coaches know their kids
better than 'most other Daddy coaches'.

However, most 'baseball' coaches see
things about your son maybe a little
differently, and that difference sometimes
makes your son.........a stronger person
in the long run.

cheers
Bear
