Hi Gerald,

Thanks, I forgot to add the part about lining up the middle knuckles. That also goes with keeping your wrists close together. If you raise your back elbow you can see your wrists get further apart and your knuckles become un-aligned as your top hand rotates inward. As you lower your back elbow the wrists get closer together, the top hand rotates back out and the knuckles line back up again.( this is precisely why I believe the back elbow should be down) I demonstrate this to the kids and have them do it so they get the feel of swinging both ways. After a few swings each way it usually becomes quite clear to them which way is best.
